  • August 1: Application opens
  • October 1: Begin the FAFSA
  • November 1: Last day to apply for free
  • December 1: Apply for named scholarships
  • January 31: Last day to apply for named scholarships
  • February 15: Financial aid packages begin
  • April 30: Last day to submit updated GPA or test scores for scholarships
  • May 1: Decision day!

To apply to Calvin, please submit the following:

You don’t need to submit an SAT, ACT, or CLT score. Calvin is test optional!

First-year student profile 2023–2024

  • High school GPA: 3.8
  • ACT: 22-30
  • SAT: 1080-1330

What if your scores are lower?

We still encourage you to apply! These scores only represent the middle 50% of our first-year students. When we review your application, we take your entire application into consideration.
