Seniors in high school: Consider choosing Overnight Stay when you register. Try the dorms out—stay with a student, experience a night of campus life!

Juniors and Seniors: This visit will qualify you for the $2,000 (renewable!) Visit Grant! We'll tell you more.

Explore Calvin on a Discovery Day—our premiere visit experience!

A college visit. But better.

Experience life as a Calvin student with other potential Knights at Calvin Discovery Days, offered on select Fridays.

Start with the basics

  • Get energized at students' favorite chapel service.
  • Connect with professors and ask them your questions.
  • Enjoy lunch with current students.
  • Explore campus with a student-led tour.

Then customize your day

  • Join students for dinner in the dining hall.
  • Attend an on-campus event.
  • Optional! Seniors: spend a night in the dorms.

  • 8:20 a.m. Check-in

    Start at the admissions office in the Spoelhof Fieldhouse Center.

  • 8:45 a.m. Welcome

    Opening remarks, admissions presentation, and send-off for the day ahead.

  • 9:30 a.m. Morning Session #1

    Two breakout sessions—select from classroom visits to department tours.

  • 10:30 a.m. Chapel

    Worship with the Calvin community.

  • 11:00 a.m. Morning Session #2

    Two breakout sessions—select from classroom visits to department tours.

  • 12:00 p.m. Lunch + Free Time

    Enjoy lunch with current Calvin students and explore our campus (suggested activities provided).

  • 1:20 p.m. Academic Fair

    - Meet professors and ask them your questions.
    - Learn more about the student life opportunities you’ll have on campus.

  • 2:20 p.m. Optional Tours

    Explore campus with a student tour guide.

  • 5:00 p.m. Dinner option

    Stick around for the evening and you can have dinner in the dining hall, check out an on-campus event, or explore Grand Rapids!
