Cold knight plunge not so cold
With temperatures soaring to an unseasonable 61 degrees on the day, the 18th annual Cold Knight Plunge was definitely one for the record books. More than 550 jumpers took advantage of the balmy weather by taking the leap into the still-icy water of the Sem Pond.
Of the 550, 68 were four-time plungers, earning the coveted Golden Towel award. Calvin president Michael Le Roy and Golden Towel owner chaplain Mary Hulst were among the jumpers this year.
