The Calvin College Noontime Series, sponsored by the Calvin Academy for Lifelong Learning, will host a lecture on Thursday, September 7 from noon to 1 p.m. in Gezon Auditorium on campus. Calvin professor Ralph Stearley will speak on "The Calvin Mastodon Project." Free and open to the public. Call 616-957-6142 for more details.

Calvin College and Pathfinder Resources present William Cope Moyers on Tuesday, September 12 at 7 p.m. in the Fine Arts Center Auditorium. Moyers will speak on "Society, Media and Substance Abuse" in a talk that is free and open to the public. Call 616-957-6142 for more information.

The Calvin College Meeter Center "fall colloquium" will be held on Thursday, September 14 at 3:30 p.m. in the Meeter Center Lecture Hall. Speaking on the topic "Was Calvin a Zwinglian?" will be Dr. Anthony N. S. Lane, London Bible College. Free and open to all. Call 616-957-7081.
