Calvin repeated as MIAA champions with a first-place total of 23 points at the MIAA championships at Olivet College. The league title is the 28th in the last 30 years for the Calvin 尘别苍鈥檚 track and field program.
During a last-chance meet at Ohio Wesleyan University, David Dadzie (Accra, Ghana) broke the Ghana national record in the hammer throw, uncorking a throw of 165-10. The throw surpassed a record that had stood since 1977.

Calvin captured its 27th consecutive MIAA title, placing first at the MIAA championships held at Olivet College with a first-place total of 268.5 points. The championship streak is the longest active streak in MIAA 飞辞尘别苍鈥檚 athletics history.

Calvin junior Colton Wolfe (Eaton Rapids, Mich.) established a new Calvin single-season record for home runs (12) and runs batted in (44).
Senior Jordan VanderWall (Wyoming, Mich.) finished his four-year career fourth on the Calvin career list for base hits (147).

RECORD: 23 -13 OVERALL, 9-7 MIAA
COACH: KEVIN VANDE STREEK
Calvin won 11 of its final 13 games to tally the highest win total since 2005. The Knights tied for fourth place in the MIAA, just missing the four-team MIAA Tournament due to a tiebreaker with Saint Mary鈥檚.聽
Senior Lydia Gildea (Gobles, Mich.) established a new Calvin single-season record for runs batted in (48).

COACH: 7-1-0 MIAA
Calvin made history by gaining its first-ever trip to the NCAA III Tournament. The Knights reached the second round before falling to St. John Fisher (Rochester, N.Y.). Calvin earned a bid to the NCAA III Tournament by defeating Albion 12-11 in the MIAA Tournament championship game.

Calvin established a single-season school record for victories in a season, surpassing the previous record by four wins.
Calvin had two overtime games during the year, defeating Wabash 14-13 in two overtime sessions in February and falling to conference foe Adrian 13-12 in a single overtime session in February.

Calvin finished in fourth place in the final MIAA regular-season standings. The Knights also gained a berth in the four-team MIAA Tournament before falling to Kalamazoo in the semifinals.

Calvin qualified for the four-team MIAA Tournament with a third-place regular-season conference finish. Calvin then bowed to Kalamazoo in the MIAA Tournament semifinals.

After finishing second in the MIAA fall regular-season standings, Calvin proceeded to place second in the MIAA spring tournament that determines that league鈥檚 automatic qualifier to the NCAA III Tournament.
