Research

Professor Ceballos completed his doctoral studies in Curriculum, Instruction and Teacher Education at Michigan State University. In the Spanish Department at Calvin, he continues to develop his professional interest in preparing language teachers. He is currently teaching a course on World Language Pedagogy, and an introductory course on Bilingual and ESL education. His humanities-oriented research asks how pedagogies in marginal spaces help us imagine decolonial education through the lenses of convivencia, and inform our pedagogical practices across multiple educational settings.
