Elizabeth Vrooman
Biography
Liz received her A.B. from Harvard College. She then went on to complete a PhD program in Medieval Spanish Literature and Teaching Methodology from the University of Massachusetts. In her years at Harvard she gained experience working in Residence Life. Her time there resulted in her perspective on supporting each student as a whole person, a view that Calvin shares. Liz loves teaching and has taught at numerous institutions, including Grand Valley State University and the University of Northern Colorado. In the Center for Student Success, Liz is both an academic counselor and an instructor for the Access program. Liz loves reading and long walks, running, and enjoys travelling abroad with her family.
