Academic Interests

I have a particular interest in Natural Areas Management and the natural history of the Great Lakes landscape. I love learning about the many species that call this area home and how best we can provide for their long-term survival. I have a special interest in native plants, especially rare and unusual plants. I am also a big fan of prescribed fire as a tool for managing ecosystems.
