Who are You? Translating Self-Understanding into Vocation via the Advisor
In our grant proposal, we noted that the alignment of practical and theoretical aspects of vocation has been
a challenge for our college, even with a significant emphasis on vocation as one of the four elements of our educational framework. Therefore, the overarching goal of our grant was to support the alignment of the student understanding of who they are, via the jobZologyâ„¢ assessment, with matching career opportunities, all within the overlay of vocational discernment via translation with the advisor. Our means to accomplish this goal was through workshops and videos for faculty, staff and students.
